For the Rancher

The perfect breeding program….

Over the years we have been developing and improving our production herd of full blood black wagyu.  After carefully selecting and breeding only those animals that optimally perform from calf to finished fat beef we are now ready to offer high quality production wagyu to start your own herd!

Raised at elevation in the Northern Sierra Nevada mountains our cattle are acclimated to thrive at elevation, in cold snowy conditions and can withstand the unpredictable weather conditions mother nature has to offer.  Our animals are conditioned to thrive not just survive in these environmental pressures.

Unlike many breeders we are putting our pedigrees to the test!  Our animals are born on the ranch and finished on the ranch giving us first hand knowledge of the performance of our genetics.  Seeing is often believing- we can put 3 generations in a corral at one time to show exactly how our beef grow and finish.  Our meticulous weighing program shows just how these beef gain on grass and dry feed.  We truly have all the answers!

Interested in testing our genetics before investing in a herd of your own?  We offer the option of  purchasing steers in addition to heifers.  These will give you the opportunity to finish them in your own program.  If you like the results, you can come back and purchase a heifer from the cow that produced the steer you loved!

Do you currently have a herd of your own but are looking to either improve the marbling on your finished beef?  Maybe you need smaller calf size for calving ease? Are you looking to develop a herd that is easier to handle and manage?  You might be interested in our bull, semen or embryo program.

With a variety of purchasing option available we are excited to help you create a successful wagyu program customized for your ranch.  We look forward to hearing from you and sharing our passion for prime grass fed beef and the amazing wagyu breed that can produce it!
